I've only ever seen the "out of this world' design. but i've just found this one around the house (not mine) and it's "Sound invasion" I think it might actually be a part of a larger set as you say. Seems to be a "Memorex is my tape" series?
I know they're rare and expensive now, maybe they are collectables.

I like those Memorex ones also, do you remember the "Out of this world" edition? the Memorex with the pictures of planets on them? I used to get the three pack from Stationary Box every Saturday lol
