seriously, i have no idea when was the last time i felt like this and it terrifies me that it's a fluke.
do not let anybody tell you there is no #trauma involved in #chronicPain or any kind of #illness. there is, and i have had to learn how NOT to suck it up and keep going —because that's killed way too many people in my family.

This makes tasks with enforced downtime like cooking or laundry especially difficult. I don't mean to leave a load in the dryer for a week to get wrinkles, but it ceased to exist as soon as I walked out of the laundry. Timers and alarms are invaluable to stop that from happening, but sometimes they just aren't enough.
Something people don't always understand about executive function and #adhd brains is that it's not just starting tasks that is hard. Taking the task back up after a break often requires the same effort of will as starting it in the first place. If I'm cleaning or doing paperwork I have to budget the entire time in one chunk, rather than being able to break things up.

She's actually talking to her doctor about increasing the dosage because it's not working as well as it used to. :'(
My partner struggles daily with #pots_syndrome. She takes diphenhydramine (Benadryl) for her #gastroparesis, but that makes her BP jump. She has meds that can keep them down, but lately it seems like her BP is either spiking or tanking. It's gotten so bad that she can barely sit up in bed without having an emergency. Is there anyone who can recommend some non-chemical ways to help with POTS or GP?
