@shezza_t thank you! so it’s kind of about finding more specialised/localised interests in the public feed, that makes sense!

I’ve seen a few posts about switching servers or switching instances but I’m not sure I understand why that matters? As in, what is the benefit in moving?

For example: I’m on mastodon.social and can follow lots of people on other instances and that makes up my timeline. Is that wrong? Have I missed something?!

Genuine query! Any advice appreciated. 👍

Any fellow #thebeatles fans on #Fediverse may be interested in this. My Uncle Monty (Lister) was a local radio dj, first hospital radio, then BBC. He recorded this interview with them in Oct 62. Ringo's first gig with them. Uncle Mont sold the rights for pennies in the 90's unfortunately, but this was recorded by me and Uncle Mont from original tape & recorder.
