Trial against commander Voislav Torden/Jan Petrovski of Nazi militia Rusich fighting for Putin in the imperialist war of aggression in Ukraine has begun, reports Public Service broadcaster YLE.

A life imprisonment has been requested by the prosecutor.

Accusations include war crimes of using perfidy by falsely raising Ukraine's flag to have a vehicle column of 22 Ukrainian soldiers to stop at a road block thinking they there were in safety to then attack them including with flamethrower, then executing the wounded, hors de combat, survivors of the initial attack.
Torden, deputy chief of the Russian Nazi unit at the time is alleged to have been in command of participants in the attack as well as also directly shooting the Ukrainian soldiers and having one underling carve the Nazi group's symbol in the face of one of the defenseless wounded as well as posed with a corpse in pictures distributed online and distributed similar pictures (both of which are also war crimes).

Torden disputes everything.
