I know I'll build a super accurate Roland 303 in Blender! *grinding wheezing noises from processor* Maybe just a plain box with an image map and throw some knobs on top?

Had to quickly smash out an illustration for a colleague: Laptop with 'social media' on it, broad midlands audience. Completely dropped putting Twitter on, the icon won't be recognised and I don't have the confidence it will be valid shortly. Chapeau Space Karen! Chapeau.

I love this throwaway where The Thick of It have chosen the most silly presenter possible for the gag - obv don't anybody tell the Sun or they'll claim proof of a long term conspiracy, because y'know, morons.

Ashes season always sends me back to this classic

A Ladybird 'Easy-Reading' Book. Three VERY white cricketers are playing a game, it is as traditional as it could be. The book is titled "Hello We've Come To Take Your Country".
The list of titles on the back cover is:
1 Nice spot Binky, fetch the big flag
2 Hello! We've come to take your country
3 No Don't mind us, just keep picking
4 You There! Be a sport and grab a rifle, little job overseas
5 Rum lot, but so rhythmic
6 Minerals exhausted? Must dash, ta ra!

thinking about lyrics that were definite placeholders. Just put that there, we'll come up with something... and they never did. Can anything beat Cream's Badge?

"I told you not to wander 'round in the dark.
I told you 'bout the swans, that they live in the park"

Boomer dads just want an embroidered 'Mission Cap'. Tom Clancy knew it, Trump knows it. Just call holidays 'Ops' and give them tactical luggage and shoulder badges. Every billionaire calling themselves 'an adventurer' is doing just that. Which is fine. But that's all it is.

Centenary year at Le Mans, I'll be watching as always... my logo pitch? Use the association with french roads, it is what makes the race so special

@PCHipsta the one place in the franchise where the BMW deal made sense.

OK, I might give partial credit for the Z8, even though it was criminally underused.

@NotTheLBCGuy the Z3 in Goldeneye! Arggh... the danger of having a brand new car in a film is when its 'vibe' hasn't fully emerged yet Z3's are not a car that Bond drives...

Automotive casting? The best one in Bond, leaving aside all the exciting cars that make zero sense for a spy... Tomorrow Never Dies. Need to blend in completely as a businessman in Hamburg - '97 BMW 750iL E38. *chef's kiss* muscular, well cut, lacking emotion... Bond in car form.

along with Tôko Miura as the driver (best name to play a driver ever?) the casting of a 1987 SAAB 900 turbo is quiet perfection. Hidetoshi Nishijima's character is a perfectionist, sombre, detail obsessed and different... what other car would he dote on?

Arguably the star, a beautiful 1987 SAAB 900 turbo Gen. 1 that steals every scene it is in, in the award winning film 'Drive My Car' (2021) directed by Ryûsuke HamaguchiArguably the star, a beautiful 1987 SAAB 900 turbo Gen. 1 that steals every scene it is in, in the award winning film 'Drive My Car' (2021) directed by Ryûsuke HamaguchiHidetoshi Nishijima and Tôko Miura in the award winning film 'Drive My Car' (2021) directed by Ryûsuke Hamaguchi along with a beautiful 1987 SAAB 900 turbo Gen. 1

just finished Drive My Car on MUBI a delicate, meditative, elegaic film from Japan. In possibly one of the finest pieces of casting the beautiful 34 year old Swede is amazing. Recommended.
