Dear Microsoft. Here is a list of things I want the Start Menu to do:
* Show my installed programs
* Search my local files
* Provide access to system settings
Here is a list of things I do *not* want the Start Menu to do:
* Show the weather for a randomly-selected town near my network's public IP infrastructure
* Show tabloid headlines
* Show programs I *don't* have installed
* Search the web via Bing
* Show adverts(!)
* Attempt to engage me in conversation with a hallucinating LLM
Thanks.

How do you mess up a drop down menu this thoroughly?

In a perfect world, every Tucson-based social media account would be a weather account during #monsoon season.
Had to replace my reusable mug. Decided to get something custom instead of whatever free thing I come across next.
I love it. I think I'm going to carry it with me everywhere, even when it's empty.

If this LinkedIn go-getter can't avoid having the "play" button look like a giant rip in the seat of his pants, what chance do I have?
