Picked up a few Commodores this week to fix up.1 VIC20, 3 C64, and 1 C128 along with a couple 1541 and a 1571 floppy drive

Some of my vintage computers, CRT monitors, and accessories used in a commercial shoot this past weekend. Mainly the electronics. It was fun. I did work with a couple of the same people I worked with before, so that was neat. I had a PI Pico with PicoMite used for the VGA color feed.

Considering trying an Etsy store again now that I've got my Sovol SV04 upgraded and tamed for the most part as well as my Ender 3 Pro with a few upgrades to it. Testing The silk 3color extrusions on the 2 nozzles. The bins with the OpenSCAD labels are my designs I've been working off and on for the past 6 months at work with various sizes to print. They interlock with each other so there's no need for a bin rack, but they can still be used on one. I'll get it converted over to OpenSCAD at some point.

What are some things y'all might want to see if I do.

I've been doing the whole "print out some upgrades and small tests" for the past couple of weeks. Got some 2020 extrusions on the way for a z axis support.

My desk is so not deep enough for this Sovol SV04. I have already designed a better drawer system for it than the ones I can find. And yes, that is a stuck line of material because it was just a little too close to the bed.

Made two types of floppy drawers and a joystick to add to the growing set of #3dprinted #vintagepc models I'm working on. The printer I used for the yellow needs better cooling.

Working on a small model of a generic old computer with a couple of accessories to be put on a couple of the STL sites. The monitor even has a swivel base.

Phone didn't want to adjust for one of the images, but it's one of the neatest pics I've taken. It looks almost like an image you'd see from Hubble or JWST.

My brother got me an early birthday gift.

The new toy at work they got me for making things.

I've been using my printers at home and bringing them in to work. Early birthday/late Christmas for me I guess. They had me choose, so I went with a SnapMaker J1s.

Well. I guess work is ordering me a fancy dual-head 3d printer for making things.

Seems like I might be getting a fancy 3d printer for work for making fixtures, brackets, and addons for machines we use. I was asked to choose one.

So far my use of Debian 12 KDE has been pretty much plug and play. Still the odd linux thing for software install and executing them, but that's to be expected. The main thing I want to learn is FreeCAD or OpenSCAD since Fusion360 doesn't have a native app for Linux.

Out of town for work. Guess where I'm going to visit in a couple days since there are none close to my home town.

So I've got a few sony mavica floppy disk cameras and I've had the idea of making a social media account somewhere to post images from those cameras from nature, cities, misc, ect... Any thoughts?

I have said it before, and I will say it again: WordPerfect 6.2 for DOS is virtually a perfect program. It is the gold standard to which any TUI word processor should be held.

Finally got a non-yellowed C64C to pair with the one I painted a few years ago as well as another VIC20 rainbow short from a local seller. They've also got some Amiga things but they want to go through them first to make sure everything is there.
