We need to go to a con and room with gryphon suiters again so we can recreate the tree of judgment!

LB: Every time I see pictures of Albi, I remember when we roomed with them and Velux at Anthrocon and we had the "tree of judgment."
I have a 4 place fursuit head drying tree I used to bring to cons, and we had it set up next to a chair in the room and if you sat in that chair, you would have 3 gryphon fursuit heads glowering down at you.
That was a fun year.

So we have this headmate who goys by Gryph who identifies themself as the essence of gryphonhood. Their form is based on the oldest description of gryphons, all black with a red patch on their chest.
They've had a really hard time coming up with a cooler name than Gryph but I think they are starting to like the name "Tempest."

I feel a powerful need to commission such a picture now.

Walking back from playing disc golf with our friends and I caught a lightning bug. The mental image I immediately got was me as a gryph, holding a paw up and looking in absolute delight as a lightning bug is just taking off from it.

I really should have been a European starling.
Probably would have been if amethyst starlings weren't so dang pretty, AND our favorite color.
