I should be allowed to wear a Halloween costume as many days as you shot fireworks
@KitMuse @hosford42 @actuallyautistic @neurodivergence I had inflamation for years and finally decided it was thyroid (im 64) - well turns out it was undiagnosed H.Pylari which effects your thyroid. within a month of starting treatment my fat little sauage finger were quickly slimming down. Now I have normal fingers, my eyebrows and body hair have mostly returned. Your gut has alot to do with stress responses. I went through mild depression and anxiety for the last few years and blamed it on lockdown etc... it has now vanished along with my other symptoms...
@Alice before I got to the end I was like, "damn, a kindred blueberry scone'o'file!"
Then I was like, "aww man, I don't want to go back to Facebook!"😭
Sometimes you have to play a long time to be able to play like yourself.

“This is terrible. This is garbage. Why am I doing this?” If you are any type of creative person you will have heard these doubts in your mind, you will have been convinced to stop countless times, discouraged and disheartened.
Nevertheless. Push on. Create, and keep on creating, unafraid of so-called failure. Create because the voice within you is uniquely yours. Create because it is the imperative of spiritual beings.
Carefully listed in a book are the names of artists, the titles of their pictures. People carry these books in their hands as they go from one canvas to another and turn over the pages and read the names. Then, they go away neither richer nor poorer in spirit than when they entered; and are at once, again engulfed by their personal interests, which have nothing whatsoever to do with art. Why did they come? Each painting mysteriously contains an entire life, a life of many sufferings, hours of doubts, of enthusiasm and of delighted inspiration. Whither does this life go? Whereto directs the artist’s soul its active creativeness? What is its message? “To send light into the depth of human hearts Is the artist’s vocation,” said Schumann. “An artist is a man who can draw and paint anything,” said Tolstoi. Of these two definitions of artist’s activity we must choose the second, if we think of the exhibition just described. With more or less skill, virtuosity and vigor, objects are re-created on a canvas, painted either roughly or smoothly. To harmonize the whole onto the canvas is the road which leads to art. With cold eyes and indifferent spirit the spectator regards this work. The connoisseurs admire “skill” (just as one would admire the prowess of a tight-rope dancer), and enjoy the “painting” (as one would enjoy a pastry). Hungry souls leave as hungry as they came.

The third song on #WalkTheEarth is “Reprisal”. It’s a companion song to “I Was There”. It was the first song that had accordion as part of it. The accordion was an experiment late in the process, and I had a hell of a time wrapping my head around the Stradella system but the effort was worth it because it made it sound huge. It’s like an orchestra in a box. I found I didn’t need the electric guitar when I involved the accordion.
I've worked it out (I asked Alexa), and my average engagement of posts vs followers is approximately 0.494%.
Less than half a percent. What the fuck guys.
@TheBreadmonkey join the engagement-deficient club, my lonely and largely unheard #MastoBuddy😂

My vacation started with weed. Humorously enough, I have smoked three times that amount after my first day back at work.
I may need to pursue other opportunities to make 💰
Just searched for #WilliamsSyndrome Found only two old toots, that had to do with diagnostics.
I guess there's no Mastodon community for people with Williams, or their family members, yet.
So, In the spirit of creating community:
Hi! I'm a dad of a girl with Williams Syndrome. Anyone with a family member who has it, of if you have it yourself, you are most welcome to toot at any time!
All these products being all "This bottle contains recycled plastic" like, mate, at this point we *all* contain recycled plastic, please be more precise.

CEOs are hugely expensive. Why not automate them?
If a single role is as expensive as thousands of workers, it is surely the prime candidate for robot-induced redundancy.
