We seem to be in in a deep and narrow canyon with flat shaly rocks stacked up on both sides with surprisingly vigorous growths of green plants on the side

I went to what might be the best #StatePark in #NY last week. My sister and I hiked for about an hour along a breathtaking #gorge on the Genessee #River, through #beautiful #forest and mostly uphill. We stopped at a #waterfall. A hawk was flying over us, and the sun was setting over the falls.

It turned out there was another parking lot right next to the falls. But the #hike made it so much more beautiful.

part of the Wulong Karst National Geology Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is famous for its "Three Natural Bridges" and the "Longshuixia Difeng Gorge," both of which feature deep canyons with rivers at the bottom and a network of well-maintained trails and elevated boardwalks for visitors to explore.

The combination of the lush greenery, the towering, weathered cliffs, and the man-made paths hugging the rock faces is a hallmark of this type of landscape in Southern China.
