I always think of my grandma akelena and miss her everyday. This past summer I lost my uncle Mike (aka magic mike) and I miss him too he was my go to for subsistence and he was the uncle that never abused me but supported me. He also made friends easily and was never serious I miss both of these guys so much.

Here's a short video of our doggies them waiting to get fed we put them atop of the stairs while one other person fills their bowls because they are labs and food motivated. #dogsofmastodon

@AlaskaWx right they are not. Rural students transition slowly into the outside or they don't even leave their villages

@AlaskaWx students are just not prepared for college and since they are native they think college is free but you have to apply for scholarships for it to be free.

Here's that newspaper article. They called him aleut but he was yup'ik or supiaq. They used the term aluet alot in our area for all natives it comes from a Russian term which we were influenced by the Russians in our area.

An old photo of my great grandpa, Evon Olympic he was part of the reindeer herding in naknek lake. One day I want to recreate the mukluk he is wearing. He also lived to be 119 yrs old and I have another older photo of him being in a newspaper. My 1st cousins that are older than me remember hearing stories from him.

@Aaron_Davis sometime just functioning sucks. I hope you can change it a bit I will soon hopefully. I want to travel to a different city for a weekend.

One thing I have been doing outside of work is crocheting plushies, I made a carrot, pumpkin, ghost, jelly fish and about to finish a turtle. One thing keeping my hands busy

@anisian the thing is we have it had 125 and put it higher and I took a warm shower with the know all the way to hot....so we connected everything right and a brand new water heater. So idk what's wrong yet

Replaced our water heater had to move it from under the stairs to the front door to drain it thats how clogged and bad it was. Now we have hot water once we figure out what temp to put the water heater at.

We finally organized our spare room but still need to empty totes and clean shit...it feels like it never ends....always something to clean
