1000 people on the beach today in Santa Cruz. There are people wearing each color of the rainbow standing in lettes that say "RESIST!" in Pride colors. Beneath thta is written "NO GOING BACK." Beneath that, more people are holding a giant upside down US flag of distress. Then there are a whole bunch more people standing in a circle around the whole thing.

EDIT: lol, I just noticed that if you zoom they've done an 8647, possibly in seashells, up at the top.

@AccordionBruce @accordionnoir Sonny is on two tracks. He plays on the duet with John Hiatt and Roddie Romero and he plays with his former Clifton Chenier band mate C.J. Chenier and Cleveland Chenier’s granddaughter Sherelle Chenier Mouton on “I’m Coming Home.” She is playing on Cleveland’s rubboard.

@bourgwick Watching the documentary reminded me how subversive the show was. It was must see TV on Saturday mornings. I fear that you couldn’t do that now on TV.

@bourgwick @mrcompletely I was at the show and it was weird watching it go down. Especially because Kelly’s spot the night before was very well received.
