@zsmb13 The requirement of needing a MacOS machine to develop and compile for those platforms. I understand Apple forbids to run their OS in containers and virtual environments but not being able to develop and compile binaries without a MacOS machine is a big show-stopper for me

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled ... was convincing internet communities to switch from email lists / IRC / another open standard to Slack / Discord. The latest example of a “it's only free while we say it's free" is CNCF’s / Kubernetes's Slack - https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/communication/slack-migration-faq.md - who it appears have *4 days* to backup their history (for a server with 100,000s of users)

Neither Slack nor Discord are reasonable, serious, professional, options for open community discussion. They are either too expensive, and/or involve inappropriate advertising. And who knows when Discord will start pulling this kind of behaviour, too, requiring large communities to pay?

The problem is today when anyone says "can't we just use an email list?" they are pooh-pooh'ed as being horribly out of touch. Hence why even the linked FAQ describes Discord as the only likely exit plan for Kubernetes. What a mess.

@JonathanMM Kotlin est multiplateforme, avec KMP. De plus, Kotlin peut sans problèmes coexister avec Java, il n'y a pas besoin de tout réécrire. Sans compter que Android Studio fait un super travail de conversion des classes existantes quand on veut juste modifier une classe.

In Belgium, there are 3 official languages. Many websites, even Google's websites like their store, default to one which is not my language, even when I'm connected with my account! This is so frustrating and contacting support is always useless.

This felt too valuable not to share. Braille-labeled maps of washrooms to help people find and use facilities in the washroom. Everyone deserves to get in, do their business, wash their hands, and get out in peace and safety.

This seems valuable for all public spaces.
