@sjvn had been nice to have, as we do have a big balcony that gets some hours of direct sun shine on sunny days... but those are kind of limited in northern Europe's rainiest towns.

@sjvn @estherschindler oh no, my Internet will be gone 😜
@TechJournalist @defcon the main issue is hardware with built in ssh capabilities which only can be updated with firmware updates and after X years there will not be new firmware released for the model even if it is good for its job
@geerlingguy a baby rack 😍
@sjvn that's just the number of Linux boxes I have at home, did they scan all of them 😜
@sjvn I'm waiting for the £ is less worth than ₺, then I can buy it 😸
@geerlingguy I have just partly gone up to 2.5Gbps, going full out is limited by the options from the brand I use and it's limitations, but I don't see they would be supporting 5Gbps in a near future, they been pushing for 10Gbps or even 25Gbps over fiber optics.
Still have to try to sell off the 1Gbps switches I have and don't use.
An update about what's been happening with my book Drystone - A Life Rebuilt and how getting the book into reader's hands is THE best part.
First press review (!!), author quotes, reader quotes, and links to all articles and features.

@Scmurcott so how do I test the hyper-v functionality with kvm?
@arstechnica there will be another administration in a few year 😜
#Linux community, I have been trying to find documentation how to use #hyperv on Linux, and I mean as the #Dom0 and the guy and girls at #microsoft who has provided the hyper-v host code don't bother to reply on inquiries.
Anyone who know how or seen documentation?
At least there is a big proof it works as #Azure is up and running...
@Pawpower looks really cool, even I would be able to see it, even if I don't understand the writing.
Yay my atlas arrived! This is really cool because I've never actually seen a map of Canada before! All the braille maps here are of the United States because that's where we are so that's where most of the companies focus there manufacturing of maps. It was really cool to actually see a map of Canada and plot out all the different cities where my friends live and the places that I've been! My Atlas has resource maps, elevation maps, climate maps it is really cool! Edited to add a picture
@rainmaker1973 yin and yang ?
Linux 6.16 brings faster file systems, improved confidential memory support, and more Rust support https://www.zdnet.com/article/linux-6-16-brings-faster-file-systems-improved-confidential-memory-support-and-more-rust-support/ by @sjvn
The latest #Linux kernel release brings many small but significant improvements.
@tuxedocomputers no full size PCIe port? 😜 Something I seriously would like a docking station that is connected to a desktop machine, so when you connect the laptop to the docking station, you get access to to what you have on the laptop or sync the data to your current user.
@geerlingguy we had those portable icons on our Amiga computers too. There was a nice flexible model before that, slightly bigger but a lot thinner.
@kristiedegaris the first hit I had was Birlinn the page seemed to just have the e-book, just me stupid enough to not understand that I had to click on the "hardback" button to get that ISBN for that one too.
