Don't mind me. Just testing some webhooks.
We've been rolling out some small updates to the BreakerBatts for the next run with some minor fit and finish improvements.
I’ve been working on a B-Mount adapter for the Intersex Plate this past week, and I’m kind of excited to print the first iteration.
I’m also thinking that we’ll have a V-mount XLR Adapter ready when V5 is finished.
Intersex Plate now supports Bebob micro plates! B-Mount coming soon along with some other surprises!
Is there anything else we should add while we’re at it?
I’ve been working version 5 of the Intersex Plate and version 2 of our T-Studs.
We originally made the T-Studs fit better than the AB ones, but AB has tweaked their GM+ plates to take up the slack… and now our T-studs don’t fit. 💩 oh well.
The big updates are: ditching 4-40 screws for M3, adding support for Bebob Micro plates, removing support for the k6 gyro (which no one seemed to use), and adding some Arri 3/8-16 with anti-twist pin receivers instead just the 3/8-16 threaded holes.
In case you’re wondering, we are on Threads, but we hope that Meta will follow through with federation so that we can import our Threads followers to this account.
We would definitely prefer to keep our own server than be under the thumb of Meta if possible. It’s not like their algorithm helps us anyway.
I just printed the very first prototype enclosure for our upcoming #WiFi6 #MiniProductionRouter. The finished product will be milled aluminum because this new board puts out a lot of heat—notice the built in heat sink fins.
Did #Red change their #9mm spacing to #10mm, and I just didn’t notice? #r3d #cinematography #focuspuller #camop
I finally got around to redesigning our #proTally assembly. The changes include:
- Combining the main unit with the talent tally so everything is all-in-one
- Neutrik NanoCON connectors are now used in place of a permanent wired power/tally connection
- Redundant power and tally connectors to allow one or two cable operation in case you need separate power and tally lines
The store page will be updated very soon!
A long overdue overhaul of our #proTally is just about ready. I think it will be a great update!
For years, costs were completely flat, and it caused us to get a little inefficient. Then after 2020, all the inflation that should have slowly happened caught up to us. Every little screw and component has jumped in cost. We want to provide the best products and service for our clients at fair prices, and we will find the best ways to accomplish that!
With rising inflation, we try to bring our costs down so that we can limit our price increases.
We switched from free shipping to a flat rate by utilizing new lower FedEx rates. To add some value to the customer, we’ve added insurance to every package.
We also looked at some of our processing fees. The first to go was Shopify installments, which charges a non-refundable 6% fee. We also stopped accepting Amex, which charges a full percentage point higher fee than every other card vendor.
I’m really interested in getting a small #cnc mill for making aluminum enclosures. I’m looking mostly at #bantomtools #desktopcncmillingmachine but would love some suggestions! #maker
