Has anyone else seen "A Christmas Carol" adapted by Steven Knight, for an FX and BBC collab? I saw it in 2019, and though it was very dark, I felt like it did a good job of actually tackling a lot of important social issues. It was considered very controversial. I'm sure a more sanitized version is preferred by most. Could be very triggering for abuse survivors, though, so caution advised.
