I currently have all three types of Apple's Pro Earbuds in my possession. I didn't plan on doing a comparison between the Airpods Pro 2, Powerbeats Pro 2, and rusty but trusty Beats Fit Pro, but that's going to end up happening.

1st, tvOS 26 makes sing it's own app and let's you use your iPhone as a remote.
2nd it's a great song

Just over 24 hours with Airpods Pro 2. Apple's taking features away from the Powerbeats 2 and not releasing a Fit Pro 2 frustrates me even more. The Beats have a much better design, but are missing features. Lack of an ear hook also frustrates me.

Time for a huge decision: Airpods Pro 2 or Powerbeats Pro 2. I do have to admit, if Apple had added the hearing functions into the Powerbeats pro 2, this wouldn't be a decision as I really don't like the airpods line.

I'm able to do mundane tasks alright, but today's walk is letting me know that my knee is still weak. My goal will be to get up and walk the Riverwalk every morning until this is easy again.

From reading in between the lines of those who took the Android XR demo, unless Apple makes remarkable progress in the next couple of years, they may be in trouble. LLMs are that killer feature of hardware. Gemini is so far in front that it's not even funny.
