I clearly remember making this image and the previous one after an unsuccessful morning trying to capture something up at Royds Moor. As I drove down the hill towards Ingebirchworth Reservoir I saw a bank of trees and decided to stop and play with some multiple exposures. It's among my favourite images from last year.

Frankie. If a tree falls in the forest, and no-one posts it on instagram, did it happen? Communications in a digital age. Every now and then (and going forward increasingly often), I get the notion of a particular image, perhaps conceptual, perhaps a little surreal. This one involved dragging an original 1950βs phone, typewriter, China tea cup and saucer, and table and chair into the woods. Fortunately Iβm not short of people happy to indulge my foibles. #conceptual #typewriter #communications
