@MichaelPorter haha, I often look at nighttime skyboxes in video games to see where on Earth, if at all, the game takes place.

A beautiful, and slightly scary thing hapened on the way to work today. Often, there are birds that fly across the trail; this time I saw one for a split second. The next split second I realised it was actually swooping toward me!

The split second after that I saw it up close in great detail. It was an owl!

I rarely see owls, and that is the closest I've seen one in the wild for sure.
