Which in turn saves lives and prevents teenagers behaving like idiots on the roads. No teenager exists that wants toys which seen by everyone as being for grandmas.

I'm surprised it's only 1:1, as my car's annual mileage has dropped by roughly 3x the #eBikes' odometers for the past dozen-ish years. When you're not just replacing a commute to the same office, trips to take the kids to a bouncy warehouse or other stroadside parking lot destination become carrying them to the library and/or with their bikes to the park along the river a couple miles away. Trips too far to walk but too crowded to drive to are perfect for #cargoBikes.

Many #ebikes have a walk function that turns the wheels at a walking speed without requiring you to pedal so you just have to hold the bike up and steer. I always forget to use it.

#superCargo bike trip to the next Ace west: 5.3mi +225ft 9 min downhill and 10 up (17.6, 15.9mph avg) on the g311_std motor from Grin, 52V 20in wheel with Schwalbe 2.35 pick-up, no passenger, about +5lb of stuff on the return (uphill) portion. Downhill was lightly/un- assisted, casual pace.
(My trip was +2mi more than this but I had traffic lights & a more circuitous ride in the rest of it since I didn't take the freeway ramp.)
