I hated when Tesla fanboys dogpiled whenever questions the self-driving capabilities.

I hate it when someone claims the amazing Bluesky team is the arbiter of what makes for a good decentralized protocol.

Follow on bet for this next quarter:

At LEAST one, robust bridge will launch inter-connecting ActivityPub/Fediverse networks in a two-way connection with BlueSky ATProtocol networks.

Likely more than one.

So an international incident involving an oil ship that consists of Indian crewmembers, is Turkish-managed, is Chinese owned, and was bound for the United States was created just to grab some leverage on the west? What a headache!

This could be avoided entirely with a transition to renewable energy sources. These one-dimensional economies are given much more power than they should.

What I haven’t seen reported by the Press even once is that, last month, the Fediverse reached 1 billion monthly messages sent.

Which is odd because that’s a more significant metric than sign-ups and MAUs.

For one thing, it indicates that people are more active on Mastodon than they were in November when MAUs hit their peak.

But Press ignore that!

What an hysterical reaction to the recent Pentagon #Leak. The feds should be blaming themselves for failing to detect the leak and failing to overhaul how to handle #classified information. We don't need more federal government #surveillance that eradicates #privacy.

I assure you that my servers are not up for sale. And from speaking to numerous other admins, they won’t be selling either.

You see, for the same reason people play basketball because it’s fun—not because they want a $50 million NBA contract—many of us run and operate Fediverse servers.

But it’s amazing that some people can’t imagine doing things without a profit motive.
