So I made a #bluesky acct finally. I’m more lost there than I was here.

@mouse_ they havent asked but rather simply told me what I need to be eating.

Oh nothing; just a hungry, dehydrated 70+ yo* woman waiting to get her “fatty liver” scanned (*made to fast for some reason; not real age but literally everyone thinks I am [read: not aging well])

It’s been said to judge someone’s character, look at how they treat waitstaff at a restaurant.
I offer another view: observe how they drive ;)

Evidently I’ve got a “fatty liver” now 🤷🏼‍♀️. Also PCM has put me on a prescription strength vitamin D because my labs indicate mine is only 3 pts lower than “normal”. I think it’s overkill. I take it once a week.
Has me taking krill oil for my “high” cholesterol even though the cardiologist doesn’t agree. It’s a compromise because I don’t want to go on a statin.
I’m deemed obese on my “master problem list”. I agree I’m overweight 🤷🏼‍♀️ 5’7, 175.

Wind picks up in about 30 min. Morning high of 62F then will drop to 45. Guess I’ll dress for the latter. I don’t like being cold.

Seems as so many are migrating once again to bluesky. I haven’t explored that option yet. I’m content with mastodon but I’m having trouble connecting with people. Guess it’s time for me to fly over there eventually to see what I can see.

For whatever reason, any orange soda does not taste like it used to. Now it’s as if it has a “diet” taste to it. Just me? I’m betting so.

I discovered an irony today. I’ve always considered myself a cat person more than a dog person only because I relate to them better.

Mostly each attempt I have at interacting with or owning a cat results in them expressing their fear or hatred of me. I’m just now realizing this.

When dogs see me, they make a beeline. I’m not against dogs unless they’re aggressive. I don’t usually enjoy big dogs though. They’re too overpowering.

I seem to talk about food a lot. Probably because when I visit the app I’m eating 🤔

Currently eating chili with rice & shredded cheese. A hearty meal.

3p. 1st “meal” of the day: Late July multigrain chips with red pepper hummus & a quick squeeze of Mike’s hot honey on top. Oh & drinking iced Bhakti chai tea mixed with coconut milk.

Just not enough hours in the day.

Thank you mastodon for the brief distraction while eating a quick lunch. Day 2 attempt to clean All The Things. I did make headway yesterday despite being hampered with a #migraine. I’m feeling decent today so here’s hoping I can complete my to do list so relaxation can happen at some point.

I opened up my #weather app to read this. Ha! The body doesn’t lie. Experienced one yesterday & it’s already starting again today. Ironic how for my whole life I thought I was plagued with sinus headaches but it turns out they’re #migraines! Also ironic that a triptan doesn’t seem to be effective for me because of course it’s not. #autismproblems

Jury duty update: spoiler alert: FML
Details if you want them. They’ve changed the way they do things now. My only option was to defer to another month. I was given Sept, Oct or Dec. I don’t want to be driving in Dec so I just picked Sept to get it over with. My only hope now is that the case will be dismissed & I won’t have to go. I wish this process were easier. Why continue with those who won’t make good jurors & put people in positions like this 😔

Also the pizza salad from Walmart was actually amazing!

Summoned for jury duty AGAIN!! Literally every year since 2021. However this date coincides with 2 important medical appointments so I’ll be calling shortly to plead my case as it were to hopefully get dismissed.
Last time I forced myself through the process & paid dearly with my health.
Anyway, I appreciate the good thoughts if you have them <3
