Taking it from a perspective of an overt expression of female empowerment over a pious society: these are women who are able & willing to oblige in lower-brain tactics. They use contemporary media engagement to augment their talents & fortunes by leveraging male desire and (too often unmentioned) peer jealousy.

@carstenfranke @randahl Indeed! And there are still cities in Canada where garbage collection is private, with something like your 6 trucks. I know of one where the city's recent proposal in a referendum was at a higher fee, so people stick with the 6 trucks.

@ai6yr how could someone without citizenship join the army in the first place? I thought the army requires loyalty underpinned by citizenship? Is this common in Western armies? (British, Canada, Australia...)

@randahl I wondered the same but it was a different connection: Hitler kicked off the corporate founding with much promise & publicity, then bait-and-switched it to a military supply factory. Hitler was already crazy then, killed millions, was cornered, and died shortly thereafter. It became the car factory & brand we know after the war under British administrative control.
