I was there.

@Tarah Nope, just cassette and CD according to discogs.com

@ReloadRtr @whiskeypirates how does one become a whiskey pirate.

Prescription medicine ads are wild. Don’t use SKIBIDI if you’re allergic to SKIBIDI.

Damn, I’m glad they let me know I should avoid things I’m allergic to.

Did you know? Computers don't actually generate heat. Inside each CPU is a miniature portal to hell. That's where all the computations come from. The heat just comes from the ambient temperature of hell that emanates from that portal.

Definitely the most #Texas headline I’ve seen in a hot minute.

First world problems: your entire family is learning French in preparation for a Parisian excursion later this year, and now all the French swearing you do is in danger of being translatable.

@SwiftOnSecurity At one point during the great hardware shortage we considered evaluating Broadcom NICs as a third option behind Mellanox and Intel. One of my favorite colleagues’ opposition was that “We should not bother to test Broadcom or anything else we find in the garbage behind Fry’s”

@SwiftOnSecurity I’d like to see it do something akin to the old unlicensed watermark complaining that it’s EOL and no longer patched.

@angusm is this a trap? You have to tell me if you’re a zombie hunter.

Twelve hours at home and it’s time to turn around and head back out. Just enough time for my cats to remember who I am and become disdainful of my presence again.

Rolling hills, manzanita trees, stucco and Spanish tile, the sun on your face, and the smell of the Pacific surf. Damn I miss living amongst all this in Southern California. I’ve always considered myself from Massachusetts, having formed so many early and strong memories there. But the 15 years in Oceanside is definitely a huge portion of my identity.

I don’t know if I could give up the daily views of Kulshan, Tahoma, and all the rest of the nearby mountains I get to see in Washington, but visiting LA always makes me nostalgic for the time that I lived here.

The level of self control one must have to walk up to Voodoo Doughnut and calmly eat a nutrigrain bar outside is something else.

@majortrades yeah, that trade is sketchy af. Someone’s about to have a bad time

Thank science for ibuprofen. Got the lastest booster yesterday and today would be an absolute struggle to survive without it. At least with the bone cracking aches I know the latest vax is working.

@major All paths serve the beam. Dark Tower is without a doubt one of my favorite series and King’s magnum opus.

Going through my toolbox and ridding myself of all the saved fasteners, and extra shit I’ve had to buy over the years because it didn’t come in a single pack. Murphy’s law says I’m sure to need something I throw out as soon as the garbage is hauled away, but I’m tired of dealing with it.

Tried to attend my eldests first JV home match of the year and got rebuffed because not only are they charging admission for JV games now, but it’s cash only.

So now I guess I’m going to drag her booster program into the 21st century and find out why they don’t use square, stripe, Venmo, or any other form of way to pay for those of us that just don’t carry cash.
