@fread please dont waste too much effort to make cross posting "easy". perhaps fediverse will actually make it possible, but trying to write software to keep up with any number of other similar software have always killed the development, in my humble experience! best wishes.

@elfhosted i like very much the concept, but today i could use right away nearly none of your offered apps! also: why using (primarily) discord and github instead of alternatives much closer to "freedom" such as telegram and codeberg? and if you want a real challenge, get/make some killer elfhosted ai, perhaps using ollama and whatever else, with an option to fallback into any api such as groq, perplexity, and manus. and focus on less apps + more important apps such as nextcloud and writefreely!

@strypey technically, "fediverse" could work like scuttlebutt and literally replace the needs for any other async comm protocol with the extra unique beauty of ssb! but the world still don't have enough devs/resource to make it work as such, like bsky do. matrix never created anything new, as far as i can tell, and adds nearly nothing to this topic.

but who cares?!

in practice i will still focus on fucking telegram, because ux matters to the people i want/need to connect to!
