@arrjay I can never tell if I'm holding you upside down or not. I just want to jam you into the hole.
Iβm done with trickle-down economics. Iβm inventing piΓ±ata economics. Thatβs where we beat rich people with sticks until money falls out of them.
@somafm I thought SomaFM was a Perl script!
This is from Israel's oldest paper. This is Israeli media reporting these war crimes and genocide in broad daylight.
You won't see this in American corporate media. They've continued to ignore this, enable this, even justify this and cheer it on.
Do not look away. This is genocide. This cannot stand.
Passenger Trains lead to Democratic Socialism.
@EricAlper it's true
@Naureckas This editorial indicating that he has struck fear among the billionaire class is the strongest endorsement of Mamdani I have seen.

Our friends in Lima, Peru are looking to put our old Caltrains into service by the end of July. They are psyched at the comfortable seats and generous leg room, they're confident the 40 year old trains can serve for 80 years, and they are thrilled to receive our old equipment as a donation, saving them $2 billion. Also, reduced air pollution and carbon emissions. Trash to Treasure!
Just a reminder that Nobel-prize winning PCR (1983), used in basically any genetic tech today, was only possible because of an extremophile bacterium discovered in 1964 in Yellowstone funded by a small ~$80k NSF grant with no obvious application at the time. The value of basic #science cannot be predicted and often is realized decades after it's done.
