Back in the 70s or 80s Doug Lenat wrote AM (Automated Mathematician), then Eurisko and then Cyc. Eurisko was notorious for helping Lenat win an annual Traveller war game tournament, Trillion Credit Squadron, two years in a row, until he was banned. Anyway, if any of this means anything to you then you may be surprised to learn that Eurisko has been resurrected!

If this stuff is unfamiliar then I need to mention that Cyc was possibly the largest “classic AI” project ever. Sadly it never had anything like the kind of success we see with ML today.

Ich plane in den nächsten 1-2 Monaten mit einer neuen Rollenspielrunde zu starten und suche noch 2-3 MitspielerInnen! (2 SpielerInnen habe ich schon).
Gespielt wird #TravellerRPG mit Mongoose 2e.
Es sind keine Kenntnisse nötig, nur Begeisterung für Science Fiction.

Gespielt wird über Discord, angestrebter Turnus wäre 1-2 mal im Monat.

I've just rewatched Moon 44 after three decades and I was surprised by the good set design.
The story is rather meh, but it was not a waste of time. 👍

I have just received three new gems from @mongoosepub for the #TravellerRPG ! 😍

I'm especially excited about the Starship Operator's Manual, since examples of everyday life is super useful for me as a referee. 👍

I've updated my Traveller Map integration for FoundryVTT to now allow the milieu to be set, allowing different data sets to be displayed according to the era your campaign is set in.

There's also now a video to show how it is used.
