#MusicWomenWednesday I'm a bit late to the party today but last week Point Mort released their latest album and I can't get enough of it. Sam Pillay, their vocalist, is really out of this world. She has the versatility of a Julie Christmas but with growl & fry singing on top of it, she can rap, and when she sings... Just listen to The Bent Neck Lady intro. From a technical point of view she's amazing on all counts but she really uses her talent to serve the music and delivers the right emotion (spoiler: there's lots of anger in their music 😅) at the right time. Their music is really good but she sends it to a whole other dimension.
