Not like this :neocat_googly:
Obsessively monkeying around in rabbit holes.
"We're not going to ask for permission for something that we should be able to just do" [...] "It's my f***ing body. If I want to go get my ears pierced, no one's going to say, 'oh, you can't do that, you need two letters from psychiatrists'." #Trans

The Globus is a navigational instrument that uses a rotating globe to show the position of the Soyuz spacecraft above the Earth. Inside the Globus, a complicated system of gears and motors positions the globe. Jon Bruner from @lumafield created a three-dimensional X-ray scan for us. 1/4

@blinry there's currently an ongoing science-fantasy story being written on which spell crafting literally is programming... Including integer overflow bugs: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/69938/magic-is-programming/chapter/1244432/chapter-1-confusion
Do you prefer the Nintendo S or the Nintendo S Lite?
@DerMolly Minerals for private machines, mountains for work stuff (if it's pet machines).
There's osmium and osmeth (two laptops of the same model), sodalite (media center), onyx (black router), fulgurite (outdoor AP) and others.
@nev Compost Flies (Ptecticus trivittatus), no?
Perfectly normal behavior in my book anyway, especially for such nice photos.

TIL why (in British English) we don't use a dot after the âStâ short form of âStreetâ.
The âtâ in âStâ is *not* the second letter of âStreetâ, but the sixth. So it's not an abbreviation (like âProf.â for âProfessorâ, âetc.â in âet ceteraâ, etc.), it's a contraction (like âDrâ in âDoctorâ, âMrâ in âMisterâ, âStâ in âSaintâ and so on) and contractions don't have a dot.

I assumed it was just a weird English thing, but turns out I found the only language feature that's entirely consistent :flan_wink:
Become ungovernable:
@malwaretech True, memory as such isn't new, but it gained new behavior under that same name.

@eliasp @yrrsinn
@malwaretech That's the memory feature. It effectively builds a dossier on you. Probably wasn't that hard to identify you.
@simon wrote about it here:

So the UK Met Office is inviting people to suggest up to 5 names for storms. And apparently lots of people have been suggesting "Storm Bigoil", along with BP, Equinor, Exxon & Shell... This is obviously appalling & definitely not to be emulated via this link:

@piegames sowas wie https://www.vice.com/en/article/cyborg-implant-north-sense-fitted-on-humans/ ?

@totempole Don't worry about it, this will mark it as a first edition and increase the value immensely once it becomes a collector's item. đ
