OMG
I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine.
Capitalism didn't give us the internet.
Large-scale cooperation, open protocols, and free software gave us the internet. Capitalism gave us mobile sites that don't work because fifteen ads cover the screen.
@heydon I'm a big fan of "No, toolchain produces attitude."
Oh, nice. Someone is spamming people with a `/now` page with a (probably vibe-coded, for sure vibe micro-copied) "conversion solution"
The idea that LLMs contain "all human knowledge" and therefore untapped wisdom to be drawn on is kind of understandable, but very wrong.
It's like saying the contents of grocery store processed through a blender is a meal at Michelin 3-star restaurant because it's got all the same ingredients.
No, it's a gray paste, but if you've never eaten fancy before you might be tricked into believing it's fancy by people selling gray paste.
@matuzo or at the other end of Basel (and a bit cramped) https://www.klarabasel.ch/
@matuzo maybe Markthalle for eating out: https://altemarkthalle.ch/ It's like a food court and so far everything I tried was pretty good.
@anildash Please, no more SOAP, ever
Seems about right
@voxpelli ah, now I start to understand. I'm usually just using whatever IDE JetBrains offers for a language which has these features natively. Yeah, and now I agree - it would be useful if static analysis and those features came from a single source.
Thanks for clarifying!
"10 composer configuration files found"
Good god.
@voxpelli shouldn't the IDE do that natively? (I had to look up intellisense - that's Microsoft for code completion, right?)
@voxpelli Maybe I'm not understanding the problem, but I'm pretty sure PHPStan and Psalm can live inside PHPStorm and will show error messages in the IDE. I haven't set it up in a while because I'll happily just have it in the running in the CI pipeline these days.
If you aren’t using AI, you run a very real risk of falling behind in the race to produce voluminous mediocrity while slowly forgetting how to do your own job.
@kniebes ja. Höchstens mal ein paar Minuten rumschippern.
@kniebes ach, nice.
Astonishing to see EBU members (in Spain and Belgium) blocking the Israel entry from Eurovision. How the EBU has fallen, to not listen to its members.
