@bitsplusatoms Not sure about others, but, when I first got my license, I knew HF was my interest, so I prepared for and took Tech and General at the same time. It has allowed me to get started on HF digital modes (my favorite type of operating) while studying for Extra.

Had a friend ask about getting started in ham radio. I encouraged him to explore the different parts of the hobby to see what interests him most, pointed him to the ARRL and Gordo licensing books, and offered to answer any questions. Other than getting him on the air (once I get my own station set back up,) what resources should I point him to? #hamradio #amateurradio
