@hollie congrats! When i was teaching, it was so much fun to work with adult students, who were usually especially good at knowing the value of their time and the cost of their tuition. Kept me on my toes.

It is SO SURREAL sometimes, to have spent my entire childhood and about half my adult life getting absolutely mauled by the world for my neurodivergence, only to find myself now in this position where I'm the one whom neurotypical friends come to when their partners and coworkers with ADHD or autism are doing something weird. Suddenly I'm the spouse whisperer! It's hilarious.

Before this the world was like, "What's WRONG with you??!!"

Now, the world is sweetly like, "Hi, can I have a moment of your time? Can you help me understand what's wrong with this other person?"

Sort of!! It’s still at REI, but I pick it up in a couple hours! I wasn’t going to get it until I’d saved up at a certain pace, but we had a fortuitous tax return and I was able to get it early. I’m over the moon!! 🌕I hope it fits me okay (it should, I followed ordering instructions).

Also I recommend getting your Brompton at REI if you can, you get 10% back in rebate. For a folding bike that is no chump change.

Thinking up new bike names…
