So I'm officially 8 months jobless as of today.
Looking for a senior database architect/engineer role with pipeline/interface experience, if you know anyone looking. I'm a generalist hunting in a specialized world.
Alternately, I can edit your TTRPG manuscript or crowdfunding page for a nominal fee.
Thanks in advance!
javascript just turned 30 which means it cannot afford a house in the current market and has moved back in with its parents
Anyone hiring a frontend developer in Canada? Circumstances have led me to start looking for my next job sooner than I would have liked.
I excel at working on design systems, cultivating a frontend culture, building with the grain of the web, and creating inclusive user experiences. Reach out if you need help with any of these!
I have deep knowledge of the web fundamentals (HTML/ARIA, CSS, JS) and the frontend ecosystem at large (build tools, frameworks, design tools).
I was laid off today along with several other people at my now former employer, supposedly for reasons unrelated to my future refusal to use LLM tools. Got a ton of boosts when I posted this originally, but no one reached out regarding job opportunities. Hoping that can change now that it's a bit more pressing. #FediHire #GetFediHired
I'm looking for work!
I can do
- Product Management
- Full Stack Web
- Javascript all the things
I've done a lot of freelance so I'm great at talking to clients and have done all sorts of collaboration. I can be left alone to come up with solutions as well as I can in a team.
Available full-time, tax-friendly, in UK and Ireland. Remote essential.
Freelance wherever.
If you have any leads or tips, it would be greatly appreciated.
Details on request.
The entire software department at work was fired yesterday. I had already quit and today is my last day. While I already have a new position starting next week, the rest of the department is looking. There are QA, frontend ( #angular ), and backend ( #python #Django) engineers, technical writer and software compliance specialists, UI/UX designers, SREs, our manager. If you're #hiring #remote in #Germany or on-site, I'd love to forward contact details. #getfedihired

@catsalad that's pretty dope! I use a Kinect v1 for that
I’m trying to build myself up. This isn’t bragging; I’m trying to honestly assess my skills and then assert that I am valuable, despite never being paid what I know I’m worth.
A few years ago I shipped a Playdate game with Zero Bugs. The only 3 reported errors occurred after platform changes.
I am the fastest and most-knowledgeable CSS person I’ve ever worked with. By a long shot.
I love collaborating & building others up.
Hire me, please!
@potch That is so beautiful 🥹
A Colorful Poster Appears! Selling my CSS color voronoi map as a print-on-demand poster so it actually exists! I ordered a test print and they did a good job. get yours! https://potch-dot-store.printful.me/product/css-named-colors
@Ashedryden I'm trying to figure out how to make that case and offer a service to get people online on their own terms quickly and affordably https://piep.works/services/get-off-facebook
I was laid off in August, so I'm looking for software development work, preferably remote, otherwise in the Twin Cities. I have 15 years' experience doing systems and back-end programming in C, C++, and Golang. I know a number of other languages, including Python and Rust, and I'll learn what I don't know. I have experience in software design and architecture, and in performance optimization.
If you know of anyone looking for anything like that, let me know. Resume available on request.
@aud "sims": used when simulating the eepy
Scroll progress animation using SVG to emulate a waveform dipping in amplitude and going out of phase. A turbulence filter helps with the imperfection.
Have you ever seen a more *specific* design for an <hr> element?
Hey fediverse. I've been unemployed for almost 5 months and am still looking for work. Either remote, or in-person/hybrid in the northern Rhode Island region.
I'm a full-stack web developer with 3 years of experience working with React/NextJS codebases, as well as JavaScript backend frameworks like Express and Fastify.
I've also built projects using Astro and SolidJS.
Outside of JavaScript, I also have knowledge in other programming languages, such as Go and Swift.
@csgordon Happened to me except they didn't even ask lmao
