The EU wants to stop feeding your DNS queries to Silicon Valley.
DNS4EU is the European Commission’s attempt to build a sovereign DNS resolver infrastructure that doesn’t route all your web lookups through the likes of Google, or Cloudflare.
DNS4EU aims to bring DNS resolution under EU oversight and privacy rules.

So this morning I was booked to go and train a bunch of young people (14-15yrs) who without any prompting have set up a company, called Tec Tarw, #recycling computers. They wanted to learn @inkscape to vinyl cut to apply their logo onto their machines/products. I walk in and they are all using @iFixit tools and talking about #repair .. an absolute honour to meet them. #thekidsarealright I'll post their website when they go live etc.

@ben I've read it but I feel like I'm missing something. It looks like the method is to draw the idea on roughly an A3 sized piece of paper. What does the "half" mean in half sheet? Is it a reference to half a Flipboard sheet of paper? Perhaps it's a language thing 🤔
@concretedog mine turns 18 this year too and it feels a bit surreal to almost have another adult in the house 😁 I couldn't be more proud of him though, I'm sure he's going to be a great adult. 🥰

Lens Platform Now Available, Collaborate With FreeCAD Online
Earlier this year the FreeCAD Project Association (FPA) awarded a grant that sought to make the Ondsel Lens platform available to all. If you don't know the Lens platform it enables vault style storage of projects with a heap of online collaborative tools.

Really pleased to hear that @ZackPolanski is standing to be leader of the Green Party U.K. No disrespect to the current leaders but I've been thinking for a few years that they would be doing so much better if he was the party leader. I'm almost tempted to join the party just so I can vote for him. 🤔
