@rakoo Like that's just the features and I'm sure you know that but it did just have a lot of artsy and technical-but-not-technologist people on it.

@rakoo Tumblr posting format (reblogs include all posts it's "replying" to) with most numbers obfuscated, with enough safety-encapsulated CSS features for users in posts that you had a number of posts feel like a polaroid of a neocities page.

Wasn't perfect but it was an active, artsy space.

The problem with microblogging platforms is you don't have the space to provide context for something other than current events so you do just get Current Events Slurry pretty quickly. I miss Cohost and you should too.

Trouble with being into the "music that's bad" genre is that trying to wind down and recalibrate with worse music after a long stint of being so excited about music is almost impossible. Phone microphone banjo music still passes as exciting.

I have a consistent weakness of quintuple-guessing my knowledge around philosophy so it's always nice when I check and I get a unilateral "nah you've got it 👍 " from books and/or people.

This was a talk I gave in April this year in Edinburgh and Glasgow, I had a lot of fun doing it. It's a mess, as a writeup it's not good enough, but that's the point.
