Doch anstatt den Preis wie bei uns zu erhöhen, weil Wissing sich weigert, die Mehrkosten zu übernehmen, hat Portugal angekündigt den Preis demnächst auf 20€ zu senken & sogar auf Intercity Züge auszuweiten. Der 🇵🇹 Ministerpräsident Luís Montenegro begründete die Preissenkung damit, dass man in die Menschen, die Umwelt und die Zukunft investieren wolle. Genau das ist der Mut den es für eine echte Verkehrswende braucht & den wir in 🇩🇪 gerade so dringend bräuchten!

Doing it this way allows deciding on wanting to build the EFIS with or without the OANS option instead of requiring 2 different pcbs...

also built the first push-pull mechanic on the shaft of a rotary encoder... so far it's been just an idea of how it could work... now I have it in my hand and yes, it does indeed work, just needs a bit of tweaking and adjustments!

Am on it now for 3h... I can initialize the display... but for what ever reason, I fail to send some data to display...

again about 30-60 min work, and the indicator LEDs on the device work properly and the integ light and display backlight work too...

Now on to the tedious and time consuming task... getting the display to run... that's gonna be a nightmare!

My DIY MCDU vs an off the shelf one

Less than an hour and the inputs of the winwing MCDU I got lend is fully mapped to the A320 in #flightgear

When I arrived the sim ran on MSFS under Windows... now it is running Linux and #flightgear 😈

@twe yeah, I probably should expand the tutorial to guide you to the destination...

Using the AP would have to be something external (ig put it on the website)

Full FMS setup is beyond the scope that makes sense.

As for alternate and direct law... I could add a key binding to bring up the law override dialog.

Fixed the ender... so glad to have it working again... just love how it's "click print and forget"!

I was a lil bit wrong on the cause tho, there wasn't filament broken off inside but some of the previous filament was somewhere in the extruder and blocked the path

@beachcomber @munin when I read "web forums", I don't think about reddit or so, I think of good old phpBB, which was often hosted by the project them self and imo a great way to share things

Discord is not a documentation platform. It is a chat platform. If your project requires connecting to a discord to obtain necessary information, then your project is undocumented.

@danielHL @clolsonus I wanted to have a video tutorial, but I 1) didn't have another screen I could show it on and 2) not the time to make that video...

@clolsonus idk what I would even have to change for that? More story telling in the tutorial text? It was mostly co-op anyways cause beings were around, helping beings who know less etc.
