bunny that dabbles their paws in the arts.
hops around hobbies, projects get finished irregularly.
i'm more used to being called by nicknames, such as fossy, sunny/sundae or even just "bun"

i am melting
@leafeon i keep seeing this post on the local timeline and i keep getting sad that we don't live in that universe :bunhdsad:
inspect element to the rescue
botb requiring to sign up to download music now. sad
i should make backups tomorrow
i'll stfu after this, but i just think computing doesn't need to be or look so boring. it's a Personal Computer. raagh
the whole misconception about linux being harder to understand than windows is clearly waning, because a week or two ago, i cobbled up a script that would use ffmpeg to convert audio to different formats. and i made that be a context menu entry for any audio file.
on windows? i wouldn't know where to start but i damn well know i'll have to face the registry editor more than once during the process to achieve the same functionality
last time i messed with sound packs, events just did not work without editing something in the registry. the "Windows Logon" sound never would play on W11. i'd imagine it's because the custom sound theme code's been unchanged since W7.
all microsoft needs to keep people on their operating systems is actual support for themes.
the most i can think off my head as to what people can do to differentiate their desktops is like. a cursor pack and a wallpaper. that's it.
admittedly that's without completely fucking up system files in order to replace system icons and gui elements. it's kinda dire
linux is cool. i'm glad that there isn't only one operating system in the world, i wouldn't want to live in a universe where that would be the case
couldn't figure out how to run plymouth after grub, something errored about mkinitcpio when i tried installing a theme i wanted. my system's using dracut. gah
i was wondering how the fuck bleachbit wasn't taking care of my ever-decreasing drive size
if you're on arch: reminder to clear your pacman cache. i had 22 gigs worth of cached packages and some old timeshift snapshots. i cleared like 30+ gigs off my pc easily earlier today
@silver https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/rncbc/qpwgraph for audio routing. really fun to route music from vlc to my microphone or anything else really
https://github.com/wwmm/easyeffects is also fun, it's for post processing audio, i can turn my mic into this basically: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9m7rJrCvAg
would recommend
@EeveeEuphoria i heart free software???
