A few lines of text and an illumination at the bottom of the page: Held by Angels, The severed head of St. Catherine gazes upon her body in the tomb. The head breaks the frame. Meanwhile, outside the closter of the frame, the landscape continues with a bearded, haloed figure rising out of a flaming tree speaking to a balding male figure kneeling on the grass. Below the frame, inhabiting the null space below the cloister-frame, a Franciscan nuns prays, with a silent prayer tape arriving beneath the feet of the kneeling male, who appears to be bringing it to the attention of the haloed, bearded type. Oh Happy is Katherine, whose martyrdom has freed her from the prison of the Body and the mediated truth!

Very cool that the oldest known Polish prose text is actually assembled from binding fragments. It really highlights the importance of #fragmentology, and the possibility of more treasures hidden inside early modern book bindings.

@chronohh Also, there's a known bug that will be fixed soon, where documents with large number of pages take longer to load at the overview page (non-optimized code hammering the database).
