Riding a slow junk train from Rutland to Hoosick Junction and beyond back in the winter of 2020.

Haha. That's tall. I'd need the stilts for such a picture.

Riding trains across Canada in the summer of 2019. One of the most beautiful places I've been with endless mountains, glacial lakes and wilderness for days. I'd still like to make it back up here and ride the polar bear train to Churchill, Manitoba near the Hudson Bay or explore eastern Canada more. This was somewhere near Moose Lake. #freighttrains #mountains

It's all good. I didn't take it as an insult. I smoked for a stint too when I was working in the restaurant industry. Nicotine is tough to kick...glad it's out of my life.

Probably not, but I'm not out here riding coal everyday. I only go to the mine once in a while haha.

It's a nice view from 15 to 20 feet off the ground on a couch with wheels...just gotta deal with a little coal dust here and there.

Riding loaded coal from Provo to Grand Junction back in 2020. This was taken sometime after going through Moffat Tunnel.

I've been feelin' pretty stoked on life recently. It feels good. Let's just keep on campin'.

Killington Peak in 2023. The summer of endless rain and wet socks. Many people quit trail crew that season because of it, but when the sun came out for the few days she managed to mosey on out of bed, she really painted the sky and made me remember why I took that job that summer. #sunset #mountains #hiking

Riding a piggyback along Lake Erie toward Buffalo in the winter of 2020.

Mountains shrouded in an ocean of haze sit and watch as the eye emerges from the Earth, branding fire into the clouds. Life.

I have been, but that night I was indoors haha. I keep my hammock up by the lake though because I'm too lazy to take it down.
2025-11-18
Every morning I wake up a little early to watch the sunrise and the fog disseminate off of the lake as the sun comes out to play. I always see this little guy perched in the same spot near my hammock, but it's like playing hide and seek. He has a sixth sense and knows when I'm about to take his picture and he flies away. Today I was able to snap a blurry picture of him right before he took off from this rock into the thick fog. He looks chilly.

Damn that sucks. At first I misread it as "undressed" and was super confused if there was some sort of polar bear plunge for biking lol.

Food and the people are the best part of traveling abroad. It's great to experience the culture and that's why I love hitchhiking. The views are just a plus.

Awesome. Always wanted to go to Norway. I have heard it's beautiful there. How did you like it?
