@klim @typographica My impression after various conversations with former MT customers is that certain license components were not sufficiently licensed (e.g. when the company, website, etc. grows) and MT is now increasing the subsequent license many times over. At least with unlimited licenses, the contract between foundry and customer can be designed in such a way that there are no loopholes at the back that can be exploited to the customer’s disadvantage.

@typographica @klim I see enormous potential for indi-foundries here. Contracts can also be designed in such a way that a potential new owner has no opportunity to demand more on top.
