There's quite a lot to see.

DonΒ΄t get trapped in the Tutorial Hell, start working on your own projects.

Just realize that running away from Tutorial Hell is quite hard... there are many options. 😟

πŸ˜‚ it is peculiar: reddit.com/r/rails/comments/18
still, for what I'm going to do, seems appropriate. πŸ€” if not, then... there's no better teacher than a burnt hand. πŸ˜‘

Seems that working with Docker will force me to practice Vim. Quite annoying to press the button to use `sudo` with VS Code. 😩
But, yes, VS Code can run an instance inside the container... then you have two VS Code windows. πŸ˜‘

apparently it can be used as a code assistant, even connect it to IDEs (using Llama3.2)
It is curious, also one wonder if there are software factories using it or other models as assistants instead of Copilot for protection. πŸ€”

Anyway, 6GB of space... if only docker images didn't use so much space. πŸ˜…

Watching an Alex Zisking video about the M4 MBP. πŸ€”
he downloaded Ollama (ollama.com/), wondering how big it is for Linux. Anyway, 2.5GB seemed easy and fast to download for him... but not for me. πŸ˜‘

wondering if MS has updated the repo for VSCode. Couldn't get the latest version. πŸ˜’

I remember this song and how good could it be for humming... but found funny how You.com chose JS highlighting to display the lyrics. πŸ˜†

Purring has a similar effect on cats... what if I start purring? πŸ€”

πŸ˜… Not the first time this is done, found another project in LinkedIn... perhaps I should try in Github too. πŸ˜…
Anyway, quite interesting. jondot.medium.com/introduction

Quite easy to read and apply, perhaps wanting to move faster but in those skipped paragraphs, one can lose some important instructions. #docker #rails #pragprogbooks

πŸ€” looks simple, but... takes some time to understand it and properly add it to your work.

Seems there are no free alternatives for making a document like markdown. A document that contains texts, images and code.
Google Docs offers something, 'code blocks' but it is not available for Personal accounts.

Obsidian FTW.

After reading the amazing book "Practical Object Oriented Design in Ruby" by Sandi Metz, I just jotted down some notes (being the thousandth doing soπŸ˜…).

Might be useful for some fellow Rubyists out there! πŸ“šπŸš€ πŸ”—:

This is interesting: linuxhint.com/translate_langua
The repo for this Translate Shell is: github.com/soimort/translate-s
like a nice tool to get #translations in the #linux terminal.

Did some code: gist.github.com/test0n3/68e047
trying to replicate the game hangman (processing, checking user input and controlling attempts).
Also did some tests: gist.github.com/test0n3/5116fc
The code certainly works but I'm just delivering code, but failing at delivering a proper solution (beside not delivering the tests first). Code that follows requirements.

It's a long path to learn to code.

I applied to a job post requiring a Junior Ruby on Rails dev. Got fooled by the title, but upon further inspection, the responsibilities and the word: "Senior Ruby on Rails Developer", make me realize something is not clear. The requirements for the position seemed kind of basic and reachable for a junior dev but... πŸ˜…

Read before you apply, just a little time and attention can save you from a huge mistake.
