I'm going to move to the calckey infosec instance and try that out. It looks neat. Hope it goes well

@jerry I can already see the giant wad of chew he has in his lip and pile of old mt dew spitter bottles on the floor.
Upgraded my coax and put on a different antenna I had from one of my radios. It seems to be working much better, I doubt I'll upgrade the antenna anymore unless the wife go along with an external antenna.
Black dot on map is approximately where my antenna is located
I moved my antenna into the attic and adjusted it a bit better. I'm picking up more planes now. I'm debating on getting a proper one for this but I'm not sure how much more I'll pick up and I don't know if I want to mount it on the exterior of the house yet. #flightradar24 #raspberrypi #rtlsdr
@Patrick I'm using the rtl-sdr from https://www.rtl-sdr.com/ and a raspberry pi. Flightradar24 has a simple image you can download and install on the raspberry pi
@peter I may try putting it in the attic first. The wife is going to give me a dirty look if I start mounting antennas on the outside of the house.
@peter right now it says 38nm. The antenna is inside in my garage right now. And it's also the cheap one that came with the rtl-sdr. I need to mount it outside and possibly replace it with a better one.
I don't know anything about this really but I feel like that's pretty good coverage with the antena being in the garage right now. #flightradar24
Well that was a really easy setup and pretty cool that it's working #raspberrypi #flightradar24 #rtlsdr
I think I finally found a use for my second raspberry pi and RTL-SDR. I'm setting it up as a ADS-B receiver for Flightradar24
I have been way to productive this week. It's gross
Let's get some work done 🤣
@metacurity the US banned these cameras years ago from being installed in government and government contractors buildings. I know a lot of places had to remove them.
I'm not sure if the UK did the same but they should.
Ok everyone, I may have come up with one of those handy life hacks you're always reading about. This one saves you from ever having to answer your phone. You need two phones for this.
If I forward my personal cell phone to my work phone and then forward my work phone to my personal phone will it never actually ring?
Lightening just struck somewhere in our neighborhood and now the powers out 😣
Asking for a $10k pay increase actually went way better than I expected.
Working up the courage to tell my boss this morning they need to pay me what I'm worth or I'm going to have to move on. I have a strong feeling the moving on part is going to happen
Are all of these remote jobs even real? I know I'm not the most experienced candidate applying to them but I've applied to TONS of different roles and not a single response.
@chelsealimboy I have no idea. I'm one of the people that likes watch the dumb tv shows 😊
@chelsealimboy I think most people would prefer to learn something new in a fun entertaining way. The down side is it is usually less informative than a book about a particular subject.
