Jeg håper inderlig at regjeringa tar til vettet, slik at det er mulig å ha tillit til at vi fortsatt bor i en rettsstat.

Jeg jobber med flerminoritetsrettigheter. Når jeg ser hvordan staten Norge behandler det samiske folket, blir jeg alvorlig bekymret.

Hvordan skal den norske staten klare å opprettholde, verne om og ivareta, alle andre minoritetsrettigheter?

Slik det ser ut i denne saken, virker det som at man trener på å undertrykke det samiske folket, se hva man kommer seg unna med – og videreføre det til andre minoriteter.

Mest rørt ble jeg av støtta fra Aurora Kobernus, en 25-årig ME-sjuk miljøaktivist som holdes i helsefengsel på Ullern. Hun kjemper for livet der inne.

Det er viktig for henne at jeg drar. Satt litt på gjerdet fram til jeg fikk den meldinga der.

Aurora har ordna funkisprogrammet til MDG. Vi var i Repparfjord samtidig.

all the rants and educational threads and responses i've posted

none of them actually state my actual *opinion*

which both deeply amuses and frustrates me

all those words, all this time

and yet, no clarity on what my actual feelings are -- publicly, anyhow.

solely because doing so again compromises my irl safety.

furthermore, the statement in combination with how virality works doesn't open up for much intra-community discussion that's publicly available

which to me is the most irritating thing

because there's a breadth of voices throughout sápmi, experiences interweaving to different takes and perspectives.

and i end up sounding like this is the epitome of bad and i am thoroughly irritated about it

i'm not, not really.

like, yeah - i think the sámi council's statement is wonderful for the clarity it has.

it draws a line. here, no further.

but is it a good introduction to sámi peoples' existence?

no. it assumes some base knowledge of our presence and our issues, which the vast majority of people do not have

it's also worded in a way where it seems we're all equal levels of pissed off. which is also untrue.

the main thing occupying my mentions all weekends have been the reddit thread on regalia appropriation, and my twitter mentions blew up

and yet there is no room for public nuance nor criticisms

because any and all perceptions "weakness" opens up the possibility for misuse and further misrepresentation, or to attempts at my safety.
