It was a delight to write this post and see all the friends we’ve been making along the way. Thank you @joeldrapper, @collin, @rooftop, Krzysztof, Ismael, @headius and @marcoroth for being part of our community! ❤️

It’s week 3 of our sponsorship drive! This week we have a field report from Riga and the rooftop! Podcasts, conferences, OSS expos, a new talk, and the beginnings of JRuby support: it’s been a busy time!

.@timriley is closing off @balticruby 2025 with the story how he got into Ruby, what it feels to manage non-mainstream Ruby open source ecosystems and shows how to get started with Hanami!

The Hanami hack table at #BalticRuby was greeted by a familiar face! (And potential new user?)

A group of smiling Ruby developers gathered around a table, including Matz, the creator of Ruby!

Trans people are friends, coworkers, neighbors, social & political leaders, and so much more.

Defending people who only want to live their own life is not controversial and never has been.

Don’t let rabid bigots fool you into thinking they care about fairness.

Hear me discuss everything @hanami on the @deadcode podcast.

We explored why Hanami exists, both technically and socially. This is my first interview since 2.2, so it’s a great overview of where Hanami is today.

Woo hoo! The first article in a new series loosely titled “Jared Tries to Do Unusual Things with #Hanami” 😅

Seems like the @hanami #Ruby #WebDev framework has been in the news lately, so I figured it was high time I took Hanami for a spin. Yay! 🎉 :ruby:

But then I started to miss the familiar comforts of Serbea, a Ruby template language based on ERB which I've grown accustomed to authoring HTML in @bridgetown.

Turns out, there was a pretty straightforward solution! 🥳
