honestly, this is one of the best books I've ever read around tech and/or policy. lots of details that I wasn't aware of, and the most valuable part isn't even how Apple facilitated Chinese tech industry, but the insights of its dealings and operations.

must read, especially for those who suggest closer partnerships with Chinese companies - so they can finally understand CCP isn't an ally.
