Glad it got better for you - I really don't remember that part being very long! (Maybe it just felt shorter as I was enjoying it, heh!) π
Was it a good hour or a bad one?
(I don't remember being at the festival more than 15 mins but then I guess it's been a while.)
I'm all for option #5: Oddly sticky.
Does the pope shit in the woods? Is a bear Catholic? π
But seriously, it's great. Probably my most fondly-remembered SNES RPG. π π
The irony levels in Pyeshot's comment were off the scale.
I can only hope for their sake it was deliberate...
Bison-tastic! π¦¬
Just watched 'A Hard Day's Night' for the first time since the 1970s, and felt the urge to scribble a quick review about it on Letterboxd.
(Side note: The film is free to stream on kanopy, for those with a relevant public library card.)
"... the renaming was being done so that there is "alignment with president and SECDEF objectives and SECNAV priorities of reestablishing the warrior culture"
Ah yes, the "warrior culture" of a president who dodged the draft FIVE times (with a bullshit made-up injury), and who thinks people voluntarily serving in the military are "losers".
These fuckers are beyond the pale.
First time I've heard of someone else doing this! (I do it too, but just with one specific friend.)
Mostly agree with @dmoren here. I know executives, even senior ones, at Apple play games. On their devices. And want a better experience for themselves and for users.
But even they have never been able to swing the massive internal inertia against games as a driving force that has existed since Apple was orders of magnitude smaller, hungrier, and more agile than it is today.
Contrast with how Microsoft internalized DirectX.

I'm actually jealous, cos I think I need one... π
(Only problem is where to put it, since I already have four bookcases in different rooms.)
Think not of the books youβve bought as a "to be readβ pile. Instead, think of your bookcase as a wine cellar. You collect books to be read at the right time, the right place, and the right mood. ~ #LucVanDonkersgoed #quotes #books
Oh I _like_ that.
Cos my "to be read" pile has somehow become four precariously teetering piles now. Plus random volumes stuck in drawers or left on any available flat surface...
Absolutely my pleasure! This deserves to be experienced by the widest audience possible!
Just boosted this cos I would love it if more of the very cool stretch goals can be reached... π€ π€ π€
