If you were to try Tenacity, there wouldn't be much of a difference. Perhaps by Tenacity 2.0 we will have hardware accelerated rendering, but that's quite far from now...

PeerTube, the Fediverse's alternative to YouTube, is normally associated with video. However, you can also upload audio files directly to PeerTube. It will accept lots of audio formats including .mp3, .ogg, .aac, .flac, .wma etc.
You can optionally upload an image file as a thumbnail. If not, audio files will show a black screen by default.

The Pleroma instance of #Starnix is more active than the Mastodon instance on the Public timeline. Yet Mastodon still has some activity, but not as much as on Pleroma. Misskey is mainly a ghost town. If only Pleroma has those Linux emojis... (I know, it takes time...)
Asahi 95 should not have left the fediverse. This was only a short term situation, and he could’ve taken a temporary break during this drama and learned to live with the side of the fediverse he chose (our side).
