Looking forward to my presentation on @openbookcollect tomorrow at , here in lovely Tromsø. As well as introducing our work, I will be highlighting some examples from our interviews with librarians in Finland and Sweden, drawing on our recently published report on barriers to supporting across 6 European contexts: zenodo.org/records/17339946 @MuninConf

Woop woop! Great to hear Caroline Edwards' endorsement of strong community-led governance structures for initiatives like Open Journals Collective, including executive powers for the community. Also appreciate the nod to @copim & @openbookcollect as influential examples/models

Very much appreciate @juancommander's reminder to us, at the start of what promises to be a dynamic post-lunch panel at that @PublicKnowledgeProject is, at root, a scholar and research led initiative. The academic system needs to take the work of building community-led, open source/access initiatives much more seriously as a valid and vital form of academic labour
