I will move from the city to the suburbs! I have a chat going with ChatGPT about upgrading my station. I use an Elecraft KX3, and plan to purchase a KXPA100 amp. ChatGPT told me it cost 49.95, and even linked directly to the product page. When I added it to my cart I saw the true price: 749.95. It forgot the 1! I still think I will buy one. I'll save during Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

My friend Dan Wagaman, W4GMN, just became a silent key due to colon cancer. @k2za I love my Kx3, a perfect radio for my needs. I use it as a QRP base station, and sometimes I like to go on the roof deck with the AX1 antenna. It has excellent audio and a CW interface for the blind.

I want to have as much fun from my apartment as possible. I run QRP 160m-70cm. For HF I use an Elecraft KX3 and have a stealth end-fed,. For VHF/UHF I use a Kenwood Tm-V71 into a Diamond vertical, and transverters into beams or loops for weak signal work. I run the HARC net on the WM3PEN repeater, 146.685 MHz, 146.2 PL, Wednesdays at 08:00 PM. #introduction
