@Rosalyn @menelion I use Seeing AI to get the information that I need, then either activate the card online or via phone. My latest experience with Wells Fargo was the smoothest yet for me.

@CreativeChris I wasn't sure how Innosearch worked with Amazon Prime, either. I have since used Innosearch to purchase an item that offered free shipping with Prime. In the checkout process, I was asked to sign in to Amazon. I'm still not quite sure how that works, but I did receive the item on the date advertised with Prime shipping. Hope this is helpful.

Trip to world market with my Bestie accompanied by #Aira: my very best friend of oh so many years, and I, went to World market today. If you have a world market in your area and you've never been, make it a point! They also have a wonderful website. All kinds of international things including cute Christmas ornaments of all kinds, often made by crafts people from other countries and I'm always excited to know that I'm helping someone's income from far away. There are many international foods there, a couple aisles of lotions and soaps, and they even have furniture. Aira was so happy to help me and my friend, who is also an explorer, shop to our hearts content. I found really awesome butterscotch caramel tea, Stroop Wafels, Asian cracker mix, and some super cute Christmas ornaments, including a hamburger where you can see the lettuce and things peeking out from the sides, with sesame seeds on top. There is also a little blown glass pickle, in case anyone wants to start following the tradition of hiding the pickle ornament in the tree, and whoever finds it has good luck for the rest of the year! Anyway, we couldn't have done it without Aira and it was so awesome and fun! Two blind ladies on a really fun shopping trip, showing each other really cool things that we would love!

Today is White Cane Awareness Day! This is a time when we acknowledge the significance of white canes in fostering freedom and independence for the blind. Throughout October (#BlindMonth), Federationists conduct activities in our local communities such as white cane walks, film screenings, and social events.

Here's a question for my fellow #blind techies who use the #SeeingAI app. Have you ever had the app pause due to inactivity right in the middle of reading something and, if so, were you able to solve the issue and, if so, how? Ok, that's three questions. Lol This occurred for the first time today as I was reading my mail. The statement that I was reading was lengthy, but not any more so than others I've read with Seeing Ai. I use VoiceOver rather than the app's onboard speech, but that has never posed a problem before. About three fourths of the way thru the document, Voiceover announced that Seeing Ai was paused due to inactivity and I had to start the process from the beginning. I love this app and use it every day. If there is a way that I can lengthen the interval before it times out, that would be wonderful.
